Audi have today announced details of a new Audi A1 5 door Sportback model, which they say is the first premium 5 door contender in the AO segment offering outstanding levels of quality, innovation and performance in a modern sporty package. there will be 4 engines available at launch, with two transmission choices – 1.2 TFSI 86ps manual, 1.4 TFSI 122ps manual, 1.4 TFSI 122ps S tronic, 1.4 TFSI 185ps S tronic and 1.6 TDI 105ps manual. The 1.6 TDI retains its 99 gm/km CO2 emmissions figure in the new body style, and all engines meet the new Euro 5 emmissions standard. UK Launch and first customer deliveries will be March 2012.
